Often times as moms we need to answer email, wash the laundry, and even just talk to a friend. But none of this is easy when you have a toddler. This is where I discovered busy box activities. Busy Box activities are an easy way to keep your toddler busy while encouraging learning. When my boys were younger, I was constantly coming up with activities to teach them everyday skills. My three-year-old son loves to put things into other things. So together we came up with this pompom game.
Materials You will need:
Tongs of some sort – we used salad tongs
A Gatorade bottle or a large jar
A bag of pom poms
How to Play:
Your toddler will take the tongs and try to place the pompoms into the container. This can be a lot of fun as you ask them to grab the green one. Can you find the pink one? Then we moved from color to sizes of pompoms. He loved finding the tiny ones.
Watch the video and see how you can make this game a lot of fun.
